Women’s cross country ranked 16th in NAIA

Freshman+Reba+Bartram+and+senior+Katie+Guarnaccia+run+the+final+stretch+of+the+Carnegie+Mellon+University+Invitational.+Last+week%2C+both+the+men%E2%80%99s+and+women%E2%80%99s+cross+country+teams+had+off+to+prepare+for+the+final+weeks+of+the+season.+This+weekend%2C+both+teams+will+compete+In+the+National+Aassociation+of+Intercollegiate+Athletics+%28NAIA%29+Great+Lakes+Challenge+in+Grand+Rapids%2C+Mich.+After+another+week+of+rest%2C+the+teams+will+compete+in+the+River+States+Conference+Championship+meet+Nov.+3+in+Owensboro%2C+Ky.+The+women%E2%80%99s+team+is+now+ranked+16th+in+the+NAIA+top+25+poll.+

Freshman Reba Bartram and senior Katie Guarnaccia run the final stretch of the Carnegie Mellon University Invitational. Last week, both the men’s and women’s cross country teams had off to prepare for the final weeks of the season. This weekend, both teams will compete In the National Aassociation of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Great Lakes Challenge in Grand Rapids, Mich. After another week of rest, the teams will compete in the River States Conference Championship meet Nov. 3 in Owensboro, Ky. The women’s team is now ranked 16th in the NAIA top 25 poll.
