I am going to talk about Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and how I feel about this guy who is essentially the Ayatollah’s talking head gone wild. The puppetry mechanism on this pretty boy is busted, and the Ayatollah gives a “word-up” to that as of 2008. Ahmadinejad is a proud Persian with a big mouth, lots of money and enriched uranium, but the American viewer only hears about him when he is acting-a-fool. To you, this man is denouncing everything America stands for and to top it off you can’t pronounce his name; to me, that is shameful. Rulers use ignorance to fuel the fire of their agendas. Ahmadinejad knows exactly what he is doing when he holds a conference for those who don’t believe in the holocaust. His followers believe that the Holocaust was a mystical event embedded in our minds to drive us toward a Zionist state of being. He does stuff like that to poke the proverbial bear, the bear being the United States and the poking being, “Hey, come get us and fuel the fire of Islamic extremism and launch a worldwide religious war, I dare you! My nation is the ‘keystone’!” The moral of the story is that when Ahmadinejad points a finger at the United States and calls upon the United Nations to investigate the 9-11 terrorist attacks, try to not concentrate your anger only on him, let me make it simple for you: Ann Coulter. In 2006, CBS News reported that in Coulter’s book, “Godless: The Church of Liberalism” she wrote that the widows of 911 rescue workers were “enjoying” the deaths of their husbands. Knowing Coulter, these remarks from her book were not taken out of context, but this just goes to show you the senselessness of all people, Persian or white. Ahmadinejad has an agenda, and Ann Coulter is a fraudulent idiot like Glenn Beck. End of story. There is hope. The first responders to Ground Zero, the heroes and victims of 911 may, God willing, receive healthcare for the sicknesses they are battling that are directly related to the destruction of the towers. I am with Rep. Anthony Weiner D. New York on this one. This is a bill of humility and it would be a great shame if it were not to pass. The people of this nation lack humility. Are we forgetting something? Will Sept. 11th become another shopping discount extravaganza day? Will the generations that follow us feel as humbled as we did on Sept.11th when they are asked to reflect upon the event? Why can’t we accept criticism of our government from an outside source, but we can bash it all on our own? I am asking you why, so go pick up some books, and read some of the theories regarding 9-11. Is there any truth to ca Ahmadinejad’s call for the investigation? Why did the American people not push the Bush administration harder for transparency and truth? I hate to quote some goofy country song, but seriously “have we forgotten”? We ought to be standing up for our heroes, our real-life heroes, and the victims of 9-11. We ought to be questioning authority. We ought to be holding our government accountable. We ought to be writing our representatives and demanding answers, demanding results. Next time you are watching the news and Ann Coulter runs her mouth, or Ahmadinejad, turn off the TV and pick up the newspaper or pick up a book. Print is much healthier; you will find more truth when you read.
