Protesters marched through Point Park’s campus on Feb. 17, Presidents Day, as part of the national “No Kings Day,” march. The demonstration opposed President Donald Trump’s sweeping executive orders and mass federal layoffs, as well as Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), among other things. A swathe of a few hundred protesters marched around Downtown for about an hour. The demonstration was the second nationwide march by the “50-50-1” movement and began at the William S. Moorhead Federal Building.
