Co-Features Editor Eddie Trizzino used to be the Online Editor for The Globe. Now, he has a different role on staff in his first semester at the Features desk.
– Why did you join The Globe?
I had wanted to join since my freshman year, but it wasn't until my second year at Point Park when I was practically obligated to join to write stories to pass a class. Needless to say, it seems to have worked out.
– How did you hear about The Globe?
I was on a tour of the campus and I saw the paper sitting on a shelf.
– Why did you choose Point Park?
There's a lot of really cool stuff around the campus downtown and I figured I would get a lot of time to check it all out.
– What do you like the most about a college newspaper's features section?
In writing for the features section, I have been introduced to a number of interesting people, events, and places that I never would have known about if not for The Globe.
– If you could write for any other section, which one would you write for and why?
I would write for whatever section has the most fun-sounding pitches, because I think they make for the best stories.
– In three words, The Globe is…
Everybody hurts sometimes
– Which fictional cartoon character would you want to be for a week and why?
It's a toss up between Jackie Chan and Ash Ketchum. I would let them fight it out to decide.
– What is your dream city to live in?
Bikini Bottom
– What is your favorite season and why?
Spring because I enjoy the sunlight.
– If you were one brick on a wall, which brick would you be?
One of the ones in the wall Charlie Brown always leans on.
