Market Square renovations still on schedule

After about five months of construction, renovations for Market Square are still on schedule, according to the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership (PDP), who oversee the renovations.

Upgrades to Market Square coming by 2026

The Pittsburgh City Planning Commission (PCPC) approved the complete overhaul of Market Square in Downtown Pittsburgh, with hopes that construction will start in April and be finished in a year.

Pittsburgh Police responded to reports of shots fired on Boulevard of the Allies early Monday morning and found a car outside Genoa Pizza and Bar at 109 Market St. with multiple bullet holes.
