Senior Nazareth Fisher made history on Tuesday, Nov. 26, when he tied the Mountain East Conference single-game rebound record. His 14-point, 25-rebound performance awarded him MEC Men’s Basketball Co-Player of the Week honors.

Men’s basketball dominates non-conference game

Point Park men’s basketball surpassed the 100-point mark for the first time this season on Nov. 16, at the CCAC-Allegheny gym. The Pioneers played against Penn State-New Kensington in a game that ended with Point Park coming out the winner with a score of 108-77.

Point Park men’s basketball kicked off its regular season on Oct. 9 and 10 at the Ron Wilson Classic in Millersville. The team ended the weekend 1-1 after games against Division II opponents Mansfield and host Millersville.

The Point Park men’s basketball team opened their season on Tuesday, October 22 with an exhibition game versus the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt) at the Petersen Events Center. The matchup did not affect either team’s record.
