Apartment project at former YWCA building in limbo despite extra funding

As the former YWCA building at 305 Wood St. sits vacant with a sign advertising future luxury apartment complexes at the site with no lights or activity, hopes for more “off-campus” housing right in-between Point Park’s campus continue to dwindle.

Old YWCA still empty a year later

Despite Mandarin Gourmet, the last tenant inside the former YWCA building at 305 Wood St., closing last year on Sept. 29, no visible construction progress has occurred at the building since the restaurant’s closure.
