Point Park Globe

Contribute to the Globe

You’ve seen us on campus, on the ticker at the CMI, and perhaps browsed our website and feel you’d like to contribute to the Point Park Globe? Contributing to the Globe couldn’t be any easier. Our meetings take place at 2:40 p.m. every Monday in the CMI newsroom.

Can’t make it? No problem! Join our email list and receive our missed pitches delivered to your inbox. Just email [email protected] and let us know!

What you need to know

  • Our deadlines are Fridays at 6 p.m. for articles and photography. Each editor will work with you to outline what they want the piece to be about and any contacts he/she has.
  • Each article should be at least 500 words in length and contain 3 live sources.
  • We have high standards, so you really should check out our writing standards guide below. It’s a crash course in writing for the Globe.
  • Questions? Contact Editor-in-Chief Alexander Popichak at [email protected]
