Golf has always been a part of Milo Thim’s life. A native of Kungsbacka, Sweden, Thim’s parents grew up playing and enjoying the game, and when Milo was only two years old, his father passed on that interest to him.

The women’s golf team picked up their second event win this past weekend after leaving the Westminster Invitational victorious this past weekend.  Junior Joey Walz lead the Pioneers after shooting...

Junior Joey Walz makes a shot out of the bunker during day one of the Carnegie Mellon Fall Shootout at the Links at Spring Church. The women’s team finished 5h out of 10 teams competing both days and Walz led the women shooting a 76 on day one. The men’s team also completed and finished 11th out of 14 day one and 10th on day two. Junior Justin Guzik led the men shooting a 72 on day one. Both teams will compete on Saturday at the Westminster invitational on Saturday and the River States Conference preview Monday and Tuesday.

Junior Lindsey Swanson placed fifth at the CMU Spring Invitational on March 29 and earned RSC Women’s Golfer of the Week March 26-April 1. The women will close conference season on April 16-17 at the RSC Tournament.
