COPA Advice Column: Introduction

This past year, the Conservatory of Performing Arts (COPA) has undergone a massive expansion. Between the newly established School of Dance and School of Theater, Film and Animation, a large portion of the student population belongs to one or more of the various departments offered.

Point Park opened the 2025 cross country season with the women’s team taking first place and the men’s team finishing fourth at the West Liberty Invitational on Thursday evening at the Bethany College Cross Country Course.

‘The Big Chill’ shows the complexity of human emotion

In the film “A Big Chill,”a funeral reunites old friends who have not seen each other since their college days at the University of Michigan. Rather than focusing on death, we narrow in more on the messy, humorous, tender ways we handle loss together.

Overenrollment and a lack of available dorm space caused roughly 80 freshman students to start the fall semester living in the Wyndham Grand hotel in Downtown near Point State Park.
