After GNC left its former headquarters at 300 Sixth Avenue in Jan. 2021, every tenant in the building left–except for KeyBank at the corner of Wood Street and Oliver Avenue. But Vestiya LLC, part of New York real estate company Victrix LLC, didn’t let the building stay vacant long before the company took interest in turning it into apartments.

Starbucks back at Point Perk

Point Perk has returned to serving Starbucks drinks with limited menu options after the drinks were previously removed from the menu at the start of the fall semester. 
A proposed rendering of the future Market Square plot includes larger sidewalks, additional seating, covered areas above and vehicular restrictions on driving and parking.

Upgrades to Market Square coming by 2026

The Pittsburgh City Planning Commission (PCPC) approved the complete overhaul of Market Square in Downtown Pittsburgh, with hopes that construction will start in April and be finished in a year.
