The men’s baseball team faced some of their toughest opponents yet this week, taking on NAIA number eight ranked Georgia Gwinnett University in a two game series on Friday, March 25 and Saturday, March 26, while also facing off against 25th ranked Cumberlands University on Friday as well.

After losing their last two games, the Pittsburgh Penguins crushed the Detroit Red Wings 11-2.  Pittsburgh’s offense was dominant in the win as they scored a season-high 11 goals. Stars Evgeni Malkin and Sidney Crosby both had a great game as Malkin had four points while Crosby finished with three. Three of Malkin’s four points were goals as he recorded a hat trick. This was Malkin’s 13th hat trick of his career.
