The pop-up message first appeared when TikTok shut down its servers for 12 hours on Saturday two hours ahead of the anticipated ban.

A ban on TikTok went into effect on Jan. 19, in the United States, causing the app to go “dark” after a Supreme Court ruling upheld the ban. The ban not only affected TikTok, but also apps like Lemon8 and Capcut which are owned by the same parent company as TikTok.

Ana Huang is an author that has released many new books in the past five years. Since 2020, Huang has released 15 books. Many of those books are interconnected standalones -- books that can be read by themselves or with the rest of the series. These include books from series such as her “Twisted” and “King of Sin” series.

Throughout the years, streaming services have gotten more popular and arguably more greedy. These services are often utilized by college students, whether for the sake of binging or providing background noise.
