1969: Port Authority considers discontinuing South Hills trolley service, angering students.
1970: “Free period” (common hour) passed by faculty.
1971: City Ministries and Point Park form Youth Learning Center alternative high school.
1972: Student Senate holds rock concert to benefit new library addition. Freeport and Scarab performed.
1974: Students form provisional government after the Student Senate had become inactive for a year.
1976: Point Park receives $100,000 in foundation grants.
1977: Kegs and other “bulk” alcohol banned from dorms.
1978: Dance students complain about studio conditions.
1979: Men’s basketball team heads to NAIA playoffs.
1980: Probation suggested for former student who stole all the master dorm keys from Lawrence Hall.
