More roads close as preparations for the 2026 NFL Draft continue

As Pittsburgh gets closer to the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft, more roads are closing and new routes are being detoured in preparation, giving commuter students even less of a reason to go to campus the week of the draft.

Pittsburgh City Council introduced a bill last Tuesday which would allow the city’s police force to enter into agreements with agencies around the region for patrol assistance and security during the 2026 NFL Draft on the North Shore.
