Men’s soccer suffers second straight loss

A quiet second half led to a 2-1 loss for Point Park men’s soccer on Sunday, Oct. 13, against the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats. The Pioneers traveled to Culpepper Stadium in Buckhannon, West Virginia and returned home with their second straight conference loss.

Volleyball loses in four sets against Fairmont

The Point Park volleyball team lost a four-set game against the Fairmont State Falcons on Friday, Oct. 11 in the Joe Retton Arena. The Falcons won 3-1 on their home court.

Men’s soccer bests Salem in 4-3 match

Point Park’s men’s soccer team picked up a 4-3 win last Sunday on the road against Salem University, a non-conference opponent in West Virginia. The Tigers inched toward a comeback, but the Pioneers secured the win in the final minutes of the game.

Volleyball earns first conference win

Thursday night, the Point Park Pioneer women’s volleyball team aimed to secure its first win in the Mountain East Conference against the 4-4 Davis & Elkins Senators.

Cross Country finishes in sixth place

The Point Park men’s and women’s cross country teams traveled to Clinton, Pennsylvania on Sept. 15. Both teams placed sixth out of 10 schools at the Robert Morris University Colonial Invitational.

Last Saturday, Sept. 14, sophomore Luke McKenna set the Point Park record for the 8k at the Robert Morris Invitational.
