Women’s soccer falls to 0-5 to start season, worst start since 2016

The women’s soccer team continued their early season struggles this week, falling to Shawnee State University 3-1 on Wednesday, Sept. 8, and 4-0 to Madonna University on Sunday, Sept. 12. The team is now 0-5 on the season, marking their worst start to a season since 2016, when they went 0-5-1 to start.

The women’s soccer team started off their 2021 season with two tough losses at home, falling to out of conference Goshen College 2-0 on Friday, August 27, and 14th ranked Grace College 3-0 on Saturday, August 28. The Pioneers start off their season 0-2 for the first time since 2019.
