5 tips to make it through finals week

With the end of the semester quickly approaching, finals week is just a week and a half away — a time when some students stress out and burn out due to the pressure of finals week.
The Pioneers have enjoyed a succesful season so far, including a sweep of Fisher. They are not done yet though, with 16 more games to go to their season.

Baseball sweeps Fisher College, lose 2 out of 3 to ranked IU Southeast

The men’s baseball team took on NAIA Fisher College and River State Conference (RSC) rival Indiana University Southeast this week. The Pioneers swept Fisher College in a doubleheader on Monday, April 4 at home, while only being able to take one of three against IU Southeast on the road on Sunday, April 10 and Monday, April 11. The Pioneers now stand at 24-9 on the season, with a 12-3 record in conference play, good enough for second place in the RSC, just behind IU Southeast who now overtakes them for first.

Charter schools deserve to be valued

By definition, a charter school is, well, a school that follows a charter. A common misconception is that they are essentially private schools, which is not the case. Students do not have to pay to attend them; enrollment is usually determined by a randomized lottery.

Pioneer Records to host 2022 Release Show this Wednesday

Point Park’s very own Pioneer Records will be hosting their 2022 Release Show this Wednesday, April 13, at The Club at Stage AE. The students at Pioneer Records have been pouring their energy into this show in order to share with the world a performance that would be both memorable to the audience and those performing. The artists slated to take the stage include Tupelo, Cesca Violet and The Kill Caesar Club.
