Happy week six of classes and mid-February, Pioneers! We sincerely hope that this semester has been going well for you. This time of year can be really stressful with midterms looming and seasonal depression (gotta love the one mid-60s day, though!) — all on top of other stressors. To say that college is a lot would be an understatement, but we are here to let you know that you are strong, and we want to remind you to take care of yourself.

Point Park needs to remove the printing budget

I’ve always wondered why the printing budget never showed up on the Lenovo computers. As someone who uses the school’s Lenovo computers daily, it would be nice if I could see my printing budget instead of having to calculate it by hand.

Brussalis needs to confirm his active allyship for the LGBTQIA+ community

The election of Chris Brussalis to the position of interim president is a direct threat to the fostering of diversity, equity, and inclusion at Point Park University. We as students, faculty, and staff deserve to feel belonging in a community which is marketed as one of the most accepting college environments in Pittsburgh. Upon the release of the information of Chris’ donations to Republican politicians during the 2022 election cycle and Christina Brussalis’ removal of the Pine-Richland Policy 832 equity policy, that is evident.
