Two people were stabbed by a man Sept. 8 around 8 p.m. after refusing to give up their money after an attempted robbery, according to Pittsburgh Police dispatchers.
One victim, a man, received injuries to the face and leg while the other, a woman, received wounds to her arm. The suspect, identified as 51-year-old Kevin Jenkins, was found and detained on the scene three minutes after police arrived.
Both victims were listed as stable condition by Pittsburgh EMS dispatchers.
Jenkins was charged with three counts of aggravated assault and two counts of recklessly endangering another person.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 16, 1:30 p.m. at the Pittsburgh Municipal Court building.
All people charged are assumed innocent until proven guilty.
