Theft:
A student stole a bottle of Gatorade from Point Café in Lawrence Hall on Oct. 23 at 1:33 a.m., according to Chief of Police Jeff Besong.
Point Park police are investigating and did not provide a description of the student.
Trespassing:
Students invited “unauthorized individuals” to play basketball in the Student Center on Oct. 24 at 6:49 p.m., according to Besong. He added that the offending students were referred to Student Life.
Drug Violation #1:
Point Park police arrested and cited an individual for possessing drugs along Third Avenue on Oct. 27 at 11:06 a.m., according to Besong.
The individual — who was not identified — was found to be in possession of a small bag of assorted pills, which were processed as evidence.
Besong said while processing those pills, police found “several clear glass-like pieces,” which they identified as methamphetamine through a NIK narcotics testing kit.
Drug Violation #2:
Point Park police arrested and took an unidentified individual to Allegheny County Jail for possessing drugs on Fourth Avenue on Oct. 27 at 2 p.m., Besong said.
Police say they found a sealed package of heroin bags stamped “UHAUL” in blue lettering along with a second, opened package with a bundle of 10 bags of heroin and three other loose bags of the drug inside.
