Criminal Mischief #1:
A student’s vehicle was left unlocked and “rummaged through” along First Avenue on Oct. 27 at 6:20 p.m., according to Chief of Police Jeff Besong.
Besong said nothing in the vehicle was stolen, but the perpetrator remains at large.
Trespass #1:
Point Park police found a man behind Boulevard Apartments rummaging through dumpsters on Oct. 31 at 12:38 p.m.
He was given a verbal warning and left campus on his own, Besong said.
Drug Violation:
Point Park police gave a woman on Wood Street a verbal warning for holding a small bag of what Besong said “looked like crack cocaine” on Oct. 31 at 1:08 p.m.
Harassment:
A staff member reported to Point Park police a private social media account which made a generally negative post about her on Oct. 31 at 2:54 p.m.
Criminal Mischief #2:
A student pulled the fire alarm in Lawrence Hall, resulting in the building’s evacuation, on Oct. 31 at 6:24 p.m., Besong said, adding they pulled the alarm “for no legitimate reason.”
The student was referred to Student Life and police gave no further details.
Trespass #2:
A man, who was not a student, was found sleeping on a chair in Village Park on Oct. 31 at 11:58 p.m., according to Besong. Point Park police gave the man a verbal warning and he left campus.
Terroristic Threat:
A student “jokingly” posted a comment online on Nov. 1 at 10:45 p.m. and was referred to Student Life, Besong said.
