On March 23rd, TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew testified on Capitol Hill regarding concerns about the app and its collection of user data. He was bombarded with questions that proved that those who want the app banned have no idea how technology works. This was made clear when U.S Rep Richard Hudson (NC) asked Chew “does TikTok access the home Wi-Fi network?”

“Don’t worry, work-study will help you while you’re in college.” That was a phrase I heard again and again throughout high school and college. Don’t get me wrong, my work-study job did help with tuition expenses as well as everyday life expenses while providing a flexible schedule. That was until for the first time in my four years at college my work-study was cut.

It’s everyone’s favorite season: internship season. In the midst of a full class schedule, work and extracurriculars, we are applying for internships and trying to make plans for the summer. In these applications, sometimes an employer may ask for an official transcript from the university. This is what happened to me.
